It is said that the ancestors of the ancient Stone City fled to the mountains to avoid the chaos of war and gradually formed a village. Therefore, all the people in the village are descendants of the same ancestor, and there are now more than a hundred villagers. The houses were built using local materials, so almost all of them are stone houses, with stone roads, stone wells, and stone yards. The ancient Stone City has a long history, and the time of its construction remains a mystery. It is one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Guangxi.

As you wind your way up the mountain road, you can overlook and appreciate the karst landforms from a commanding height. You can find a local villager's home in Shitouzhai Village or Dayantou Village and have some rural cuisine there. After the meal, continue walking eastward, passing through Daping Village and Shuiyanmen Mountain, and then you will reach Xianggong Mountain. This mountain is one of the best shooting spots for the scenery of the Lijiang River. There is a platform on the top of the mountain, and it is relatively easy to climb. The best shooting time is at 6:00 in the morning, and it is an excellent place to enjoy the sunrise over the mountains along the Lijiang River and the First Bend of the Lijiang River.
