Tiantouzhai

Tiantou Village is a small settlement located halfway up the mountain. Surrounded by terraced fields and mountains, it is the village with the highest altitude within the scenic area, from which one can overlook the entire expanse of terraced fields. All the buildings here are stilted wooden houses built along the mountain. They lean against the hillside at the back, and in the front, they are supported by wooden pillars. Under the wooden pillars, a layer of foundation is built with stones to level the unevenness caused by the slope of the mountain. In the morning, the mist rising in the village mingles with the curling smoke from the kitchen chimneys, making people feel as if they are in a fairyland. This place also serves as a venue for various activities and a gathering place for the Yao ethnic group.
