Laozhai Mountain

· Laozhai Mountain is composed of limestone. At the foot of the mountain on the east side, there is an artesian well. Since the water in it flows all year round, the mountain is also known as "Dajing Mountain".
· Laozhai Mountain, with its steep path, attracts many photography enthusiasts to climb it. Although its altitude is not very high, there are more than a thousand steps.
· When looking into the distance from the top of the mountain, the Lijiang River makes a turn at the foot of the mountain, and one cruise ship after another shuttles through it.
· In the evening, on the alluvial small plain of Dahebei on the opposite bank, the mountains turn slightly red under the setting sun and reveal a little bit of greenery. This is the "Xingping Sunset Glow" highly praised by the famous painter Xu Beihong.
