Jiuxian Village

· Jiuxian Village is an ancient village located by the Yulong River. It has a history of more than 1,400 years.
· Here lies the "Guiyi Ancient City", and there is an ancient well left behind. The two Chinese characters "Shoujiu" (meaning "uphold the old traditions") are inscribed on the ancient well.
· The folk houses in the village are full of antique charm. Most of the buildings feature horse-head walls, blue bricks and dark tiles, and sloping roofs. The serene environment is more suitable for people to be in a daze and ponder over their thoughts.
· For those who go rafting on the Yulong River, most of them have their meals in Jiuxian Village. The most famous one is Laogen Farmhouse Restaurant. It offers delicious food with large portions, and many tourists come here especially for it.
